Michael often talks about the inner frustrations at not being able to do the things he could do before, and feeling trapped in his body. And yet, how freeing it is when he paints and sees what wants to come out.
Michael plays with structure in this piece. He says it is ‘the wheel amongst bricks and mortar.’
