This is standing at the beach at Phillip Island, Cape Woolamai. Just looking out there. The body of water as the tide goes out. The lighthouse in the middle.
We go every Christmas to Philip Island.
Everything there is small. Narrow roads. It's a small place with small things.
My Mother in law, Louisa's step-mother, Alex lives there. She's having trouble dying. Like me. She's too healthy. She's 93 and we go every year to visit her. I've been there every year since 1972. I know the beach well. Alex is immobile now. But we get along well.
This is part of the 'Blue Series'.
