“People take time to see the vegemite jar,” Michael shares with me. “And I say to them….’C’mon you can’t be that stupid’, because I am allowed to say that!
When I saw what I had done with this one I thought something had gone wrong. It has no balance. It has no creative anxiety. But it has a jar of Vegemite and I didn't realise what that meant, that it was chasing our friend Andy Warhol until after it came through. And so how do I explain it? I am sure Andy Warhol copied a lot of other people. I don't know. But I am glad I did it because there is no way I would have done it had I known.
We will hear on the night what's wrong with it!
If we can get them laughing and joking about it, that’s good.”
